Rural #environement vs. loadcurve adapted RES integration? Absolutely!
Currently we develop a 86MW multi-Hybrid project inheriting #Wind, #Photovoltaic Energy, #Biomass and #Hydropower for a decentrally located municipality in western #France.
Unusual #windspeeds, heavy rainfall periods and a weak public grid, a good amount of natural dump a 5 decades old microhydro turbine and 20k+ livingunits to power – what a combo ♻️
These givings led us to the planning of an own microgrid with #ai #controlled generator #steering and an energy saving #DC-link #coupling of the single, clean #technologies.
We have a blast, #engineering these multi-technology scenarios under #difficult conditions and even invest into such #solutions; thats where we feel home at OE I EN .
The #result is a Baseload capable system #avoiding any #battery integration, which also was a main #goal of the approach. We work to receive the municipal approvals for all appliances soon to power 23’000 #homes with an #autarky of over 82% throughout the entire year.
